Stray Kids to perform at Toronto’s Rogers Stadium next summer on world tour

Global K-pop boy band Stray Kids has just announced additional dates on their massive world tour that will mean hitting the stage in Toronto at the new Rogers Stadium next summer.
The octet dropped dates for the North American, Latin American and European legs of their “dominATE” stadium tour with a single Canadian date on June 29, the closing concert of the North American leg.
The band joins Oasis and Coldplay as the only confirmed acts scheduled for Rogers Stadium, which will become Toronto’s largest purpose-built outdoor concert venue, hosting up to 50,000 attendees at the site of the former Downsview Airport.
Plans for the stadium were announced in late September. It’s expected to open in June 2025.
Last month, Coldplay confirmed they would play two Toronto shows at Rogers Stadium before adding two more dates due to “spectacular demand,” marking their first Toronto concert stop in eight years.
English rock band Oasis were the first to confirm they would host their Toronto shows at the stadium, on Aug. 24 and 25.
Stray Kids could be the first to play Rogers Stadium with their Toronto date ahead of Coldplay’s four July concerts and Oasis’s two highly anticipated shows.
As Rogers Stadium’s name resembles that of Toronto’s well-established Rogers Centre, some fans have already mixed up the two.
This will be the first time Stray Kids perform for their Canadian fans on tour.
The group is also in the midst of rolling out teasers for its upcoming special album “合 (HOP),” which will be released Dec. 13. Their ninth Korean EP “Ate” was released in July and had a music video cameo from Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds alongside Hugh Jackman for the track “Chk Chk Boom.”
Pre-sale signup is available now through Nov. 21 at 10 a.m. and tickets for the North American leg go on sale on Nov. 22.
