Teens charged in fatal shooting were ‘friends’ with 15-year-old victim, prosecutor says

Syracuse, N.Y. – Three 16-year-olds were arraigned Tuesday on an indictment charging them with the murder of their friend who they shot while they were trying to shoot a pedestrian, a prosecutor said.
Torrin Brown, 16, Quinntone Moore, 16, and Uzziah Murray, 16, are accused of fatally shooting Deron McGee Jr., 15, around 11 p.m. Aug. 12, according to an indictment filed in Onondaga County Court.
